LUNA WHISPERS: CHAPTER 26

 

ACE POV

MATURE SCENE AHEAD

I went away with mother, to be honest, I did not want to talk to her. If this was another conversation that would end in an argument, I will definitely leave right now.

"What is the matter mother?" I said to her.

"You have not talked to me for so long and that is the question you asked me, not even a proper greeting." She said.

"Goodevening mother, are you happy now?" I asked.

"I am not happy Ace." She said sadly.

"I am not happy because our relationship is strained and it is because of me." She said. I looked away and sighed.

"I am sorry that I said those things. It was completely wrong of me." She said.

"I'm happy that you saw it was wrong mother." I said 

"I promise you that from now on, I will learn to respect your wife and I will try hard to get to know her, because I don't want to lose what we have." She said. I turned to her and held her shoulder.

"Do it because you want to and not because of me. Freya is amazing mother, all you just have to do is open your heart to her." I said sighing.

"Thank you for coming to celebrate with us but I would like to go back now." I said, I kissed her forehead and stepped away from her.

I saw Freya laughing with her mother and Yuri, probably something they said amused her. She looked beautiful In the moon light. The fire showing of her beautiful hair and the green in her eyes. I can't wait for us to finally be alone. I want her all to myself. I sat down beside her and held her close to me.

"Are you done speaking to your mother?" She asked me.

"Yes." I said to her. She turned my face towards hers.

"Did you two reconcile?" She asked. 

"We're one step closer than we were before." I said.

"I like that. I'm happy." She said.

"My mother does not deserve you." I said and kissed her forehead.

Ralia and Darren came from the other side, they looked happy, a certain shine to them. I think I knew why. I looked at him. His eyes met mine and he smiled. They both sat down together, smiling at each other.

"Where have you two been?" Freya asked smiling.

"We were just taking a walk." Ralia said.

"Was the walk enlightening?" I said to her. Ralia looked at Darren and smiled.

"It was." She said.

"Why do I feel like I'm the only one that's out of the loop. It's not fair." Freya said. We all laughed. I whispered into her ears.

"I will tell you later don't worry, let's give them their moment for now." He said.

We celebrated for most parts of the night. It was quite a happy night. I would never have wanted to spend my birthday any other way. Freya was hugging her mother and telling her goodnight. I really wanted to have her all to myself right now. She started to walk towards me, she got to me, hugged me and kissed my chest.

"Can we go upstairs now?" I said quite frustrated with not having my way with her yet. She giggled.

"Not yet? Come with me first." She said.

"Why are you doing this to me." I said holding her waist tightly. She gasped.

"Ace, behave or I might not keep to my promise." She said with an amused look on her face.

"You wouldn't dare." I said to her and she laughed. So beautifully.

"I have a surprise for you first." She told me.

"Lead the way then." I said to her. We started to walk towards the garden. I wonder what she wanted to show me. The last special moment we had here was her birthday, she still wore the birthday present I gave to her till now. It made me smile a bit. She turned to look at me and then told me to come sit. I walked towards her and I sat down next to her.

"I made something for you. I really hope you like it." She said.

"I would love anything that you give me Freya. Everything you do is special." I said to her and she smiled.

"I had a little help from Jacob." She said with her hands on my cheek.

"Close your eyes." She whispered. I closed it and she placed something on my hands, it felt like a weapon. 

"You can open them." She whispered slowly.

I opened my eyes and I saw a sword in them. It had something that looked like a gem stone between it.

"That is my blood In the middle." She said and I looked at her a bit shocked.

"It is to show my devotion to you. To show my loyalty and my love. Whenever you fight with this sword remember that I am always here for you and you are going into any battle with me by your side. I will never leave you, no matter what happens and I will continue to love you till I breathe my last." She said to me with so much emotion in her eyes. I brought her close to me and I kissed her.

"You are like a wonderful dream. One I do not want to wake up from. I don't know what I did to get such a precious gift like you." I said to her and I kissed her hand.

"You are the gift here, my love." She said to me. I kissed her deeply after she said that. I couldn't hold back anymore. I had to have her now. I held her head tenderly in my hands as I showered her with all my affection. She pulled back breathing heavily and whispered.

"Let's go upstairs." She said 

"I am much too impatient." I said, she looked at me and giggled.

"I'm pretty sure we can make it up in time." She said.

"Why don't we be a little spontaneous and do it here in the garden." I said mischievously.

"Here?" She said shocked.

"Here." I repeated. She blushed shyly.

"But anyone could see and hear us here." She said.

"I'd like nothing more than people hearing you scream my name." I said.

"Ace!" She said and laughed.

I kissed her deeply once more and my lips went to her neck and then her chest. She pushed me away slightly and whispered,

"Wait." I looked up at her.

"What is the problem my love. If you do not want to do it here I understand." Even though it will be quite interesting, I want to make sure that she is comfortable. 

"No, I want to, its just that today is your birthday and I want to take care of you for once." She said. 

"You always take care of me." I said to her. I knew what she was talking about but I wanted to make her blush more. It was cute when she did that.

"You know what I mean." She said.

"No, no I don't." I said smiling.

"Ace, stop it." She said and we both laughed. I kissed her again, I layed her down on the grass and she flipped us over and kissed my chest. Opening my shirt and kissing downwards.

"Are you sure you want to?" I asked her.

"I've never wanted anything more." She said and bit her lip.

She kept kissing downwards until she reached the place she knew that I needed her most. I sighed and closed eyes.

"Freya. My goodness." I said quite shocked. Where did she learn to do that? I held her head tenderly and moved her closer to me. She was magnificent, beautiful. She kissed her way back to my chest and then my lips.

"Did you like it?" She said shyly. I sighed and I kissed her, putting her under me. I pushed her dress up and I kissed her legs. I stripped us of our undergarments and then I entered her. It felt like home.

"Are you okay?" I whispered. Her eyes were closed in ecstacy and she was breathing deeply.

"I have never been better." She said.

We both moved together, she was perfect. Just so perfect. Her moans filled my ears, a sound I never wanted to stop hearing for the rest of my life.

"I love you, I will never tire of telling you that." I said.

"I love you too." She said holding onto my shoulders. After a few minutes, we both released and she held  onto me tightly, our sweat mingling with each other. I looked into her eyes as our noses touched each other. She whispered to me.

"Happy birthday." And I laughed and kissed her shoulder.

"Now, we can continue upstairs." I said picking her up, she giggled as we climbed upstairs.

FREYA POV

I looked up at my husband as he slept peacefully. I traced a finger on his chest. I don't think we got any sleep last night to be honest, I didn't want it any other way. I haven't told Ace about the visions that I've been having. I didn't want to spoil the mood yesterday. I just wanted it to be filled with happy thoughts. I would tell him today. Every single vision I've had has been taking me back to the human world. I think I know what I need to do. But I will need his support to accomplish it and after everything that has happened Ace will definitely not agree. I have to tread carefully. I felt him moving under me. He was about to wake up. 

He opened his eyes slowly and he looked at me. I smiled shyly at him, remembering all the events of yesterday. 

"Goodmorning." He said flipping us over and kissing my neck. I giggled.

"Goodmorning." I said as he pulled away and kissed me on the lips.

"I want to stay here with you forever." He said while kissing my neck again.

"Yes, but we have to leave or they might wonder where we are." I said and smiled. He looked at me and smirked.

"Who says we can't stay her for as long as we want. I'm very sure I can convince you." He said. He put his head under the blanket. I gasped when I felt his mouth on me. I fisted my palms on the bedsheets.

"Ace" I whispered his name. He was trying to kill me. I know he was. I was still in my world of ecstacy when I heard a knock on the door and covered my mouth. He still didn't stop.

"Isabelle. Is that you?" I said.

"Yes, are you okay?" She asked. It was as though he was trying to torture me, because as soon as I responded his mouth went deeper and I let out an unintentional moan.

"Oh, I'm sorry I will come back later." I heard her say. Noting the amusement in her voice. Ace brought his head back up and smiled at me.

"Was that enough of an answer for her?" He asked and laughed.

"How could you do that." I said but I couldn't help the laugh that came out of me.

"Heaven knows what she might be thinking. I do not think that I can face her again after that." I said. He just stared at me, with the same loving look in his eyes.

"What?" I said 

"You're beautiful." He answered. We kissed once more and went back under the covers.

Isabelle was helping me to dress up for the day. I looked at her and I saw amusement written all over her face. Probably remembering what she heard this morning.

"Alright, just laugh already." I said to her. 

"About what?" She said. I stared at her and she laughed. 

"I feel so embarrassed." I said and laughed along with her.

"Do not. It's definitely not worse than the time that my mother-in-law caught my husband and I in the hayloft." She said. My eyes grew wild.

"That is quite scandalous. I cannot imagine Isis ever seeing us in that position." I said and we both laughed again.

I would love to say that I continued talking and laughing with Isabelle but that wouldn't be true. I knew I had something to tell Ace and I could already see that it wouldn't be a smooth conversion between us. Ace told me that he was going to meet Jacob today so I went to the weaponry shed to meet him. I saw him and Jacob talkng. They were probably deliberating on something. I walked closer to them and cleared my throat. He looked at me and smiled. He walked towards me and held my waist, I put my hand on his chest.

"I hope I'm not interrupting something?" I asked.

"No, you would never be an interruption." He said. I turned to Jacob to greet him.

"Good day Jacob. I hope you're doing quite well?" I asked him and he responded with a nod and a smile.

"I want to talk to you about something." I said to him looking serious. He led me away as we took a walk together. He turned me towards him. His face looking worried.

"Is there a problem? Are you okay my love." He said to me with his hands on my cheek. He was perfect, everything about him.

"Remember those visions I've been telling you about?" I said to him.

"Yes, I remember quite clearly. Are you still having them. I assumed you weren't since you haven't spoken to me about them again." He said.

"I didn't want you to worry. The visions, they've been insistent and adamant on staying, sometimes they are scary, other times it's like it's trying to tell me something." I said.

"Like what?" He asked, his voice sounding worried.

"It keeps showing me the cottage I grew up in as a child. Like it's trying to show me something from my past. Something that I think I'm missing." I said to him.

"What did it show you." He said.

"A boy with golden eyes. He had a lot of bruises on his back. He said I should find him. The things he showed me Ace. The ones I managed to see. They were dreadful." I said to him. He sighed.

"What about the other visions?" He asked. I told him about how I keep seeing myself. A more evil version of myself. I told him about the sage and Kye.

"I'm so confused about everything, but I think I know where to start." I said to him. He looked at me knowingly.

"Freya, we can't." He said to me.

"It's the only thing I can think of Ace. I have to go to the human world." I said.

"Do you know what you're saying? You're talking about breaking the most important rule of the pack." He said.

"Yes, but it is for a good cause. I'm sure they'll understand why. I'm certain they will." I said to him.

"Freya, you cannot put your life in danger again. I will not let you out of my sight again." He said, looking scared. It was the first time I've seen him look distraught. He wasn't acting like this mainly because of the rules. It was because he was worried about me.

"Ace, I'll be fine." I said. 

"That's what you said the last time." He said.

"And I'm here now, aren't I?" I said.

"But you didn't come back to me the same. I don't want to see you like that again." He said. I held his cheek tenderly and I looked him in the eye.

"I promise you, nothing is going to happen." I said. He looked at me determined.

"You are only going on one condition." He said. 

"What is it?" I said

"I am coming with you." He said.

"But the pack…" I said and he cut me off.

"The pack will be fine without me. You said this would help us. The council will be willing to listen more if I help your case and after the rogue territory they seem to respect you more. With me next to you, there is more of a chance they would listen to you." He said. He held my shoulder.

"I want to be there with you. I don't want anything bad to happen to you. I want to be by your side and you're not going to stop me." He said. 

I nodded my head and he hugged me. I'm sure the visions are trying to tell me something that I need to know and I'm going to find out what it is.
